We are located in the Arapahoe National Forest north of Black Hawk, Colorado, approximately 15 miles from I-70 just off of Highway 119. We are less than an hour drive from most parts of the Denver/Boulder area.

From Denver / Metro Area: Take Interstate 70 (I-70) west to the Highway 119 / Blackhawk / Eldora Ski area exit which is 20-25 minutes west of Golden. Follow the signs to Black Hawk and continue on Hwy 119 for approximately 4 more miles. Look for the Gilpin County School on your left and just past the school a Forest Sign that says "Pickle Gulch Recreation Area". Turn left (west) here on Missouri Gulch Road and take this road approximately 2 1/2 miles to Uncle Charlie's Ranch.

From Western Colorado: Take Interstate 70 (I-70) east to the Highway 119 / Blackhawk / Eldora Ski area exit which is just east of Idaho Springs. Follow the signs to Black Hawk and continue on Hwy 119 for approximately 4 more miles. Look for the Gilpin County School on your left and just past the school a Forest Sign that says "Pickle Gulch Recreation Area". Turn left (west) here on Missouri Gulch Road and take this road approximately 2 1/2 miles to Uncle Charlie's Ranch.

From Nederland / Boulder via Hwy 119 (Peak to Peak Hwy): Take Hwy 119 South from Nederland (about 25 minutes). Look for a Forest Sign that says "Pickle Gulch Recreation Area", Turn right (west) here on Missouri Gulch Road. For reference this is between mile markers 10 and 11. Follow Missouri Gulch Road approximately 2 1/2 miles to Uncle Charlie's Ranch.
